Brixen is about halfway between Bozen/Bolzano and Brenner/Brenner and is easy to reach via the Brenner freeway. The exit “Bressanone / Brixen” is about 4 km north of the city. From here you can quickly and easily reach Residence Isarcus and all interesting destinations and locations in South Tyrol.
Our Residence Isarcus is located on the Lungo Isarco, approx. 5 minutes’ walk from Piazzo Duomo and the historic center of Bressanone.
Arrival by car
Brixen is easily accessible via the A22 Brenner Motorway, which connects the city to major destinations in northern and southern Italy, as well as to neighboring countries.
Coming from the south take the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit and continue north on the SS12 state highway towards Bressanone.
Coming from the north, take the Bressanone/Val Pusteria exit and continue in a southerly direction on the state highway SS12 toward Bressanone
Arrival by train
Brixen is easily accessible by train, thanks to its strategic location along major rail lines. EuroCity and InterCity stop at the Bressanone station.
Residence Isarcus is approx. a 20-minute walk from the station, passing through the historic center.
Those who do not want to walk can conveniently take the CityBus Line 3 in the direction of Novacella/Seiser Leite (duration: approx. 7 min). Residence Isarcus is located directly along the Brenner-Bozen bicycle path, which is part of a bicycle intinerary from Munich to Verona.
